a most fun weekend ahead...

phew... i just finished my offering sharing for the night... thank you God... shared about abel and cain... and i think i'll share a bit here. Two questions you can see about offering in the story of cain and abel. One is 'what is it that you offer to God?' and 'In what manner is it that you offer it up to God?'. Offering is not just limited to the confines of money but can be stretched to offering up everything.. your life your family and even your problems unto Him. Is what you are giving to Him your best of the best like what Abel offered up to the Lord or is it 'just some of the fruits' that you offer unto the Lord like Cain. The other part is how u give. Do you give out of obligation because everyone else is doing it... or is it willingly given with a cheerful heart. Some of this questions i have also to cross examined my own heart. Whether i am serving in church reluctantly and because everyone else is also serving... or am i serving with a cheerful heart as i look on to more as the Lord guides me through... just some points to ponder on i guess... besides that, i think that urban life (like a cell group) had a pretty good turn up despite the many people gone back or on holiday... well... no matter where we are... God's with us... so people everywhere.. enjoy your holidays la...

going off to ocf camp tomolo at Katherine's Creek... i think that's what it's called... and you can bet that the place is gonna be cold... but it is the middle of winter already... so no surprise there... let's see if i can last there with my short pants... i tried it in Belgrave Heights easter camp last year... and i can say that that camp was the most least prepared one i was... haha... who would have thought that Belgrave Heights would be in the hills where the wind blows oh-so-wonderfully-cold.... and i did not bring anything to keep me warm... this time i shall go a lil' more prepared...

at the moment... having some friends from perth over at my place... lazarus, mey yan and grace... all the way from curtin university... too bad my old good fren jason couldn't come as well... but looks like he'll be a wee bit more busy now eh...*wink wink... hahaha...

this week went by quite fast... but i was busy each day... not too bad... at least i didn't bum around and watch tv all day... or maybe i wrote like that so my parents who might read this wouldn't call me and ask me to get my bum off the chair and do something meaningful and fruitful.... hahaha... just kidding... i am doing something... don't worry... on that note... i've got my permit to work... so who knows where i might work now... hmm.... so many choices... hope God will help me out here and narrow my choices...

on another note... my whole body is still aching after that basketball game... i wonder why.... maybe hao ern it's because you HAVEN'T BEEN EXERCISING!!!! lolz... oh well... i've been walking with my muscles aching and not too mention that my wisdom tooth that is growing is not helping either... can u believe it... i got this huge giganto ulcer blister thing at the area where my wisdom tooth is growing... aiya... i can't open my mouth wide and chew all the delicious food... nooooooo... what a nightmare... i just went to this 'mamak' place with joshua, daniel, farah and my dear just the other day and eating an omelette took me an hour to finish... Lord... please heal this blister...

ok.. i have to sleep now... tomolo i have to wake up at 7.00 am ... why do camps like to make you wake up so early... sigh... but on a fun note... aunty cat invited me, laz and winnie over for dinner on monday when i get back from camp... mmmm... good food... i hope this ulcer will go away... otherwise...sigh...
